Used within a wide range of industrial applications such as the treatment of potable and waste water, it enhances flocculation and coagulation. Utilised for personal care products such as deodorants and antiperspirants, and in the production of cosmetics, as well as in the paper and pulp industry.
Chemical formula NaOH – a clear solution or white granules or flakes
With uses across the brewing, dairy and food industry, sodium hydroxide solution is utilised as a strong principal chemical base as a drain cleaner and in the manufacture of drinking water, soaps and detergents, textiles, pulp and paper. The granules and flakes are easily dissolvable in water with heat release and are also soluble in methyl and ethyl alcohols.

Sodium metabisulphite, also known as sodium pyrosulphite, is a salt of sulphurous acid, mainly used as an antioxidant and preservative to prevent the enzymatic and bacterial spoilage of food. Also used for the sterilisation of equipment, or as a disinfectant. Other uses include in water treatment, textiles, pulp processing, gas purification and within the leather industry.

Sulphuric acid, also known as sulfuric acid, has many uses and is a key substance in the chemical industry. With a wide range of applications, including various cleaning agents, household drain cleaners, and electrolyte in lead-acid batteries. Within the chemical industry the principle uses include chemical synthesis, mineral processing, the manufacture of fertilizer, oil refining and wastewater processing.
